Recommendation
Start with a client operations workspace, not a branded inbox.
The best Phase 1 direction is a calm internal workbench: clients, assigned tasks, due dates, notes, and document references first. Stage 2 can deepen bookkeeping templates and month-end close. Stage 3 can add grant deadlines and reimbursement/reporting status beside the bookkeeping work instead of hiding it in a separate tool.
